Michael Mankins is a leader in our Strategy & Transformation and Organization practices.
With more than 35 years of consulting experience, Michael has supported senior leadership at several of the world's largest companies drive successful business transformation. He has advised business leaders across a wide array of industries, with recent engagements focusing on automotive, aerospace, enterprise technology, and athletic footwear and apparel.
Michael is a co-author of Time, Talent, Energy: Overcome Organizational Drag & Unleash Your Team’s Productive Power, released by the Harvard Business Review Press in 2017, Decide & Deliver: Five Steps to Breakthrough Performance in Your Organization (HBRP, 2010) and The Value Imperative: Managing for Superior Shareholder Returns (Free Press, 1994).
Michael’s experience and expertise has been featured in many leading publications, including the Harvard Business Review, the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. In 2006, Consulting Magazine named him one of the year's "top 25 most influential consultants."
Michael holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with distinction, and a B.S. in Economics, with highest honors, from the University of Kentucky.
Michael has served on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Creativity Museum in San Francisco and the National Association of Urban Debate Leagues.
